Private Preserve is an inert Gas that is used to preserve wine after un-corking. Contains Carbon Dioxide, Nitrogen, and Argon. All of these gasses are heavier than oxygen is so, this creates a blanket over the wine protecting it from oxidation. Also can be used for sparging bottles before filling/corking.
